Why should I have a county library card?
With a county library card you can use all county library resources on-site, or off-site with your library card number for log-in. The county library has a wide variety of databases, many more than we are able to provide at Ranney. You can also request any book in the library system, through a county branch or a local member library. What if the town I live in is not a member municipality?
In Monmouth County, certain towns have opted not to pay the county library tax. These towns all have their own local libraries for their residents' use. Residents of these towns may use county library facilities on-site, but may not check out materials or access electronic resources off-site.
