Scholarly articles
What are they? Where can I find them in our library? See this link on the library website.
If you insist on using the free web, try Google Advanced Search (limit file type to .pdf, and domain to .edu).

Video / media clips
Ranney's only video subscription database is Discovery Streaming. Find it in the Databases A-Z tab on the library website (if asked to log in, use ranney / library).
Dr. Martone is allowing you to use TedTalks, music videos, commercials, and interviews as long as they are school appropriate. Remember that you will need to cite your source, so gather as much information about it as you can (date, who produced it, etc.).

How do I construct an annotated bibliography?
Here is an example: sample annotated bib entry
.Use EasyBib to create your annotated bibliography. (click the link for Ranney access information).
*Create your bibliography as you normally would, and at the bottom of the entry use the "add annotation" button to enter your annotation information.
*EasyBib will format the bibliography for you. Save it to your drive, add your name, but don't change anything else (spacing, font, punctuation, etc).
OR, see pages 160-163 of the Hacker style manual (available in the library - ask Mrs. S.) for detailed information about citing media sources.
