Whether presenting the newest books, a variety of genres, or a customized booktalk based on your curriculum, students will enjoy learning more about literature and authors whose work "lives" on our shelves, just waiting to be discovered. Booktalks can be presented in the library or in your classroom.

Book Trailers
Bring your students into the media center to promote reading and build digital media and storytelling skills at the same time! The library media specialist can instruct students on using digital video programs and free web applications to produce engaging book trailers that get students excited about sharing their reading interests.

Virtual Author Visits
Schedule a virtual author visit using Skype! Connect with well known authors before, during, or after reading his or her books. In many cases, brief "meet the author" visits are free!
